Dr Daniel Martinez

General Practitioner, Regenerative Medicine Specialist (MBBS - FACRRM) & Co-Founder

Dr. Daniel Martinez brings a genuinely global perspective to medicine — one shaped by training across three countries and a deep conviction that the body, given the right support, is its own most powerful healer.
After graduating in Medicine from the University of Alicante, Spain in 1996, Daniel completed his postgraduate GP training in the United Kingdom before making the move that changed everything — relocating with his family to the Mornington Peninsula in 2013, drawn by the same sense of community and natural beauty that defines life here. He holds Fellowship with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM), a qualification that speaks to his commitment to comprehensive, patient-centred care.
At RegenWise, Daniel's work sits at the intersection of evidence-based medicine and regenerative possibility. His special interest in sports medicine led him to develop particular expertise in osteoarthritis and soft tissue injuries — conditions where regenerative treatments like Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, High Intensity Laser and Shockwave Therapy are changing what patients thought was possible for their recovery and quality of life. He also brings broad clinical experience in chronic disease management, including diabetes, cardiovascular health, and respiratory conditions.
What sets Daniel apart is how he practises as much as what he practises. He takes time — genuinely — to listen, to understand your story, and to build a treatment pathway that makes sense for your life. Whether you're a seasoned athlete, an active retiree, or someone simply ready to move without pain again, Daniel meets you where you are.
Fluent in English and Spanish (and some German), Daniel is as comfortable chatting with patients from across the Peninsula as he is with the international community that calls this region home. When he's not in the clinic, you'll likely find him enjoying outdoors activities, or lost in a good book — a man who understands better than most that staying active and curious is medicine in itself.

Justine Thomas

Dietitian, Bsc, Grad, Dip. Diet APD

Justine is a qualified dietitian with over thirty years of experience helping individuals and families transform their health through food. Her approach is practical, compassionate, and evidence-based — focusing on what works in real life, not just in theory.
With three decades of clinical experience, Justine understands that lasting change comes from establishing sustainable eating patterns and addressing your relationship with food, not from following rigid meal plans or eliminating entire food groups. She works collaboratively with you to create a nutrition strategy that fits your lifestyle, supports your health goals, and complements your regenerative medicine treatments at RegenWise.
One of Justine's most meaningful areas of expertise lies in supporting children with sensory food issues, particularly those associated with Autism. For the past seven years, she has worked alongside Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists in a truly collaborative approach to care — working directly with children while also consulting with parents individually. Justine helps families understand the likely causes behind restrictive eating patterns, provides practical strategies to move forward, and assesses both the nutritional adequacy of the child's diet and the sensory factors shaping it. It's patient, specialised work — and for many families, genuinely life-changing.
Whether you're managing a chronic condition, recovering from injury, navigating the complexities of a child's relationship with food, or simply wanting to feel your best, Justine provides the expertise and support to help you nourish your body's natural ability to heal and thrive.

Mirielle Schreuders

Registred Nurse - Laser Specialist

When it comes to understanding how light and sound can heal the body, Mirielle is in a league of her own.
Armed with a Master of Nursing from Monash University and a Bachelor of Health Science in Dermal Science, Mirielle brings a rare combination of clinical depth and hands-on expertise to RegenWise. Her particular passion lies in helping patients discover what's possible through advanced treatment modalities — especially those who've been living with pain for longer than they should have to.
Mirielle specialises in High Potency Medical Laser Therapy — powerful, non-surgical, drug-free treatments that work with your body's own healing mechanisms to address the root cause of painful muscles and joints. Whether you're dealing with an acute injury or a chronic soft tissue condition that's been holding you back, she takes the time to ensure every patient truly understands their treatment and what to expect — because informed patients heal with confidence.
At RegenWise, Mirielle performs individualised healing programs tailored to each patient's unique needs and presentation.
When she's not in the clinic, Mirielle is soaking up everything the Peninsula has to offer — beach visits, bike rides, and a well-stocked reading list that spans just about every topic imaginable.

Tamzyn Febey

Patient Services Coordinator

If you've ever walked into RegenWise and immediately felt at ease, that's Tamzyn, the heart of RegenWise.
A proud local who grew up, went to school, and built her career right here on the Mornington Peninsula, Tamzyn brings something that can't be taught — a genuine connection to this community and the people in it. For her, working at RegenWise isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to make a real difference for neighbours, friends, and familiar faces every single day.
With a decade of experience spanning beauty, skin and laser therapy, as well as medical reception and administration, Tamzyn understands both the clinical and the human sides of patient care. She knows that nobody particularly enjoys feeling unwell or being in pain, and she's quietly dedicated to making every visit a little warmer, a little easier, and a little less daunting than the last.
Her passion for integrative medicine runs deep — she genuinely believes in RegenWise's philosophy that there's a better, more integrative way to help people feel their best. Having worked alongside Dr. Daniel for almost two years, she's an integral part of how the clinic runs and how patients experience it.
Outside the clinic, Tamzyn is happiest travelling to new places, styling her home, and spending quality time with the friends and family she loves.

Sonia Orts

Director, CEO (Chief of Everything Officer)
& Co-Founder

Every clinic needs a doctor. But behind every great clinic, there's usually someone wearing approximately seven hats at once — and at RegenWise, that someone is Sonia.
As co-founder and Director, Sonia is the operational heartbeat of RegenWise. With over fourteen years as a financial consultant and five years as Financial Control Manager overseeing a holding group of thirteen companies, she brings a rare and formidable combination of business acumen, strategic thinking, and financial rigour to everything the clinic does.
But the story doesn't end with spreadsheets and strategy. Sonia runs her own cosmetic brand, holds a Diploma of Perfumery and Aromatherapy, and an Advanced Cosmetic Science certification as a professional cosmetic formulator, and it's this expertise that adds a genuinely unique dimension to RegenWise. Working in close collaboration with Dr. Daniel and allied health professionals, she bridges the worlds of regenerative medicine and evidence-based personal care — helping to design targeted skincare programs and select the right topical formulations to support patients with skin concerns, post-treatment recovery, and chronic skin conditions. It's a quietly powerful combination that most clinics simply can't offer.
Sonia also happens to be the creative mind behind what you see and feel when you walk through the door at RegenWise. From the clinic's aesthetic to its events and atmosphere, her love of design and visual storytelling shapes the experience in ways that go well beyond medicine.
When she finally steps away from the clinic, you'll find her reading a good book — ideally by the beach, waves as her soundtrack — and taking life lessons from her three remarkably wise cats.
